This is an extensive American site: leaving aside the directory type information, there is much of universal interest. There is detailed and approachable advice on buying a piano (acoustic) either new or second-hand; an explanation of how pianos work; and advice on caring for a piano. The directory of piano manufacturers is international and includes links to the company's own website for further information, where applicable. 'Links' and 'MIDI Music and Software' offer copious listings of related sites around the world.
